About Changelings and Alice
Changelings are humanoid creatures with a pair of tall horns centered above the eyebrows and a thin, spade-tipped tail. Their horns and tails are the same color, but can have different lengths and spade shapes (Alice's horns and tail are red and her spade features a more heart shape, while Val has blue horns and tail with a sharper, traditional spade shape.) They can and do enjoy shapeshifting into any species but their tail and horns remain the same color regardless of their new shape.
Each changeling has their own favorite forms-- Alice enjoys most animal forms but her most common shapes include hyenas, opossums, rats, cats, rabbits, and ungulates. Val prefers animal forms that can fly but is know to take the form of a big cat or stag on occasion. Alice and Val have a young son, Bastion, who has yet to choose a common form but features a set of small green horns and tail with a tail spade similar to his father's but more diamond-shaped.
